Tune in to Destination Whitetail tonight at 8:30 Eastern/7:30 Central Standard Time on the Sportsman Channel.

Tonight’s episode features Stacy Harris – chef, author and pioneer in the field-to-table movement – as she shares her insights on healthy sustainable living, and hunts for her first whitetail.
Putting aside her career as a lawyer, Stacy now lives the dream of raising seven children and maintaining a healthy, sustainable, back-to-the basics lifestyle.
Stacy was born and raised in the “Black Belt” region in Montgomery, Ala., where the ground is fertile and the wildlife is plentiful. Her passion for harvesting and eating from the wild began 20 years ago when she married an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Both Stacy and Scott are from Montgomery, Ala., where they enjoy nature’s natural bounty and have utilized their knowledge and expertise to take advantage of the plentiful resources around them.
Stacy Harris is the author of three cookbooks: Recipes and Tips for Sustainable Living, Tracking the Outdoors In, and Wildgame: Food for your Family, as well as a DVD, Gourmet Venison with Stacy Harris.
