First Season, First Buck Definitely One to Remember

Dylan Javoroski killed this great 11-pointer during the 2017 Wisconsin youth hunt with his .243 rifle in a food plot he helped plant. It’s his first season to hunt and definitely one to remember. (Photo: Contributed by the Javoroski Family)

Few deer hunters forget the details of their first buck, from who they were with to the time of day and how far the shot was with their gun or bow.

Dylan Javoroski won’t forget his first deer season or his first buck.

The 10-year-old knocked down a stunning 11-point buck with his .243 rifle while hunting during the 2017 Wisconsin youth hunt. The buck had a unique rack that’s a little nontypical but is very cool, and came out in a food plot that Javoroski helped plant. He made the shot at about 60 yards.

Think he’s hooked for life? We do. Congratulations!
