Blackpowder Products Incorporated (BPI) announced today that their longtime employee and friend, Dave Meredith, passed away on January 23, 2012 after a long battle with lung cancer.
Dave started with Connecticut Valley Arms, Inc. (CVA) in 1994 as a Customer Service Representative. When the CVA brand was acquired by BPI in 1999, he took on the roll of Customer Service Supervisor and Print Media Liaison, the position in which he served for the next 13 years.
“Dave will be greatly missed here at BPI,” said Dudley McGarity, the company’s CEO. “He had a great way with people and had made many friends through his work at BPI – especially among the Outdoor Writer community.”
