Last September i shot a nice 6'4",260lb black bear.when i looked up my lab results, they said my bear was only one year old. I emailed back and questioned, they assured me they were correct. I find that hard to believe. Sure we all make mistakes but they double checked and still say one year old. How do we know there info is correct,deer numbers, cwd, tb...etc. Does the dnr have any checks and ballances.

My response to that is people are only human someone messed up somewhere and your probably getting info from a 2nd party....two years in pa (i think 2 years ago) they changed the process of doe license and there was a fiasco...the result of this was people who applied on time, many didn't get permits all human error...mistakes happen... by second party it was probably a receptionist that file the information they receive from the labs...
