Deer Vision

A Closer Look at Deer Vision

Hunters can do a lot of things to become invisible to white-tailed deer, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to be able to completely hide in the stand. Deer have dichromatic vision, meaning they see better in 2D than 3D. They also don’t see the same colors that we see, with better vision in the blue, green and yellow areas of the color spectrum. So what do you do in the stand to make yourself less visible? Find out in this episode of Deer Talk Now as Daniel Schmidt explains what white-tailed deer actually see and how you can hunt more effectively. Then check out the product of the day, Field & Stream Shop’s Every Hunt Soft Shell jacket and pants. Deer Talk Now. Season 7. Episode 40.
