My good friend Lon Sherman and his son Lance have had the shed hunting season
to end all seasons. As of this writing they have found 64 sheds, most coming from
a half-square mile of land in Wisconsin. No doubt the key to success was a cornfield,
but the two have really put on some foot miles in their searches. They have also found
16 dead deer — mostly doe fawns that died from the harsh winter.
