2016 SHOT Show: Best New Gear from Bloodsport

GEAR BloodSport Grave Digger cut on contact
BloodSport Grave Digger cut on contact broadhead.

Mechanical and fixed-blade broadheads have their advantages, so most bowhunters make their choice based on which disadvantages they can best live with. BloodSport Grave Digger hybrid broadheads offer all the advantages of both fixed-blades and mechanicals, with none of the drawbacks.

Let’s face it, fixed-blade shooters would love to have the super accuracy and large holes associated with quality expandables. Likewise, expandable shooters would welcome the peace of mind and rock-solid dependability of a fixed blade. TheGrave Digger hybrid broadhead is both.

The Grave Digger starts with a full-size 1-inch fixed-blade head, and the ferrule also includes a set of cross-opening curved mechanical blades that cut an additional 1 3/4 inches. The cross-opening blade design greatly reduces the energy needed to open the blades compared to traditional “over the top” mechanicals on the market.

The Grave Digger also offers an exclusive fixed-blade mode and can be shot as a 1 inch fixed main blade with 1/2 inch bleeders simply by tightening the set screw on the kickout blades. The mechanical blades can be adjusted to open either easier or harder, depending on the draw weight of the hunter’s bow. With it’s patented blade retention system, Grave Digger blades stay closed in fight, but open on impact – every time.

Night Fury broadheads are a blend of proven and cutting-edge technology. These are the most accurate broadheads ever designed. The Night Fury uses BloodSport’s patented ‘cross opening’ blade design. This design greatly reduces the amount of exposed blade surface to allow it to be truly field-point accurate.

Our patented design greatly reduces the amount of energy needed to open the blades compared to traditional “over the top” mechanicals on the market. With the kickout blades being sharpened to the tip of the blade, it gives the Night Fury unparalleled flight and penetration.
