ATA 2019: The Year’s Best New Compound Bows

The first day of the 2019 Archery Trade Association Show is in the books, and this year’s crop of new compound bows is pretty impressive, without a doubt. Innovation abounds in every aspect that bowhunters would want, with new high-performance bows ready to get after the chase in the field and on the range.

Deer & Deer Hunting’s editors were able to get firsthand looks at many of the top bows that hunters will see and shoot this year, and there are plenty of reasons to get excited about what’s in store. Whether you’re looking for speed, silence, accuracy, high let-off, light weight, stability, compactness or something else, these top bows will deliver when the season is on the line and you need to make the shot at the buck of a lifetime. Without further ado, and in no particular order, take a sneak peek at the new Mathews Traverse, Bear Divergent, PSE Evoke 31, Prime Logic CT3, Xpedition Mako X and Obsession FX30 compound bows.
