TenPoint Crossbows recently launched the fastest, lightest, and most accurate version of their long-standing Turbo crossbow – the NEW Turbo X. The Turbo X shoots 15 FPS faster, weighs just 6.9-pounds, and generates long-range accuracy out to 100-yards thanks to the NEW S2 Trigger, Scope Struts, and RangeMaster® 100 Scope.
“This crossbow is in direct response of us listening to dealer and consumer feedback,” said Phil Bednar, TenPoint CEO. “From speed to weight to accuracy, simplicity, and durability, the Turbo X sets the standard in performance at its price-point of $1,299. And, to top it off, it comes with the de-cocking system dealers recommend most – the ACUslide™.”
Featuring a traditional, time-tested 2-cable bow assembly built for durability, simplicity, and low maintenance, the Turbo X is equipped with the MDX Cam system that creates a longer power stroke to deliver speeds of 415 feet-per-second. The cam system allows the crossbow to utilize a lighter draw weight, reducing noise, vibration, and limb stress – all important factors in making the Turbo X the lowest maintenance, affordable high-performance crossbow.
The Turbo X generates greater down-range accuracy thanks to the Scope Struts and RangeMaster 100 Scope. The Scope Struts increase strength to provide a rock-solid foundation for optics to deliver long-range accuracy and “bulletproof” in-the-field durability.
The RangeMaster 100 offers aim points out to 100-yards. The 2-7 variable speed scope accommodates crossbows shooting between 380-505 FPS. Upgraded glass provides the shooter with improved image clarity and brightness, allowing for maximum long-range accuracy. The scope is finished in matching Vektra camo in the camo package purchase option and is our lowest priced crossbow with a camo scope.
The Turbo X features the NEW S2™ trigger. This 2-stage, zero-creep design features an advanced roller-sear system that delivers a consistent crisp, 3.5-pound pull. The trigger is equipped with a DFP™ (Dry-Fire-Prohibitor). Thanks to the new DFP, consumers no longer need to worry about the potential of getting stuck on the previous Dry-Fire-Inhibitor (DFI) when cocking or shooting the crossbow – ultimately reducing questions and frustration.
TenPoint continues to dominate the de-cocking crossbow market, as retailers and consumer alike have proven the patented ACUslide Cocking and De-Cocking System is the safest and easiest system to operate on the market. The patented Auto-Brake Gear System separates TenPoint from all other de-cocking crossbows on the market by eliminating the potential of losing control during de-cocking which can lead to injury or costly bow damage. While cocking and de-cocking with the ACUslide, the user can remove their hand, with no other action required – and the handle will stop in place.
The crossbow has an ultra-light, two-piece TECH-TAC™ stock that features multiple weight reducing cutouts. The stock provides the shooter with ideal length-of-pull and combines with the RangeMaster 100 Scope to yield perfect eye alignment.
The Turbo X is also equipped with a bow hook that allows the hunter to easily hang their bow in the stand. An integrated String Dampening System is also included to reduce noise and vibration.
