TenPoint Crossbow Technologies unveils four new crossbows for 2026: the TX Ultra 26.5, the TX Ultra 29.5, the TRX Ultra and the Turbo X Vision. 

The TX Ultra 26.5 is their shortest forward draw crossbow ever. Measuring 26.5″ short and 7″ narrow, the TX Ultra 26.5 shoots 410 FPS. The TX Ultra 29.5 is their fastest forward draw crossbow ever. Measuring 29.5″ short and 6.5″ narrow, the TX Ultra 29.5 shoots 460 FPS. 

The TRX Ultra is a new flagship crossbow that is the fastest in the industry and expands the company’s popular TRX and TX Series lineup. Measuring 29.5″ short and 6″ narrow, the TRX Ultra shoots 515 FPS and is a reverse-draw option.

All three crossbows in the Ultra series feature Twin-Riser Technology™ (TRT), a custom TriggerTech Trigger, AR-Style Ambidextrous Thumb Safety, and multiple precision-engineered accuracy advancements capable of delivering 3″ groups at 100 yards.

1. Zero-Torsion Technology

• NEW 8MM Axle: 175% stronger and 215% stiffer than standard axles, maintains perfect cam, axle, and limb alignment during and after the shot to maximize accuracy and improve bow efficiency.
• NEW X-Wide™ Limbs: 20% wider and 120% stronger than standard limbs, combine with the 8MM axle to eliminate all torsional movement along the limb axis, driving long-range accuracy.

2. Premium String Construction:

Given the goals for the Ultra Series and the additional serving wear created by traditional snap-on nocks, we investigated new string materials and construction methods. This testing led to our new Premium String, built with advanced processes and materials to deliver both exceptional accuracy and string longevity for bows using snap-on nocks. The Premium String and ACU-X nock combination virtually eliminates serving distortion and wear while extending string life by 200% compared to previous strings.

3. NEW ACU-X 20 Arrows with Snap-On Nock

• ACU-X 20 Arrow: 20-inch, 440-grain arrow features a high-performance carbon shaft and new precision spine-indexing manufacturing technique – placing the spine of the arrow in the exact configuration that has been tested and proven to deliver the ultimate consistency and accuracy for our rail-less forward crossbows. In addition to spine indexing, arrow straightness of .001″ and +/- 1 grain weight sorting ensure ultimate arrow-to-arrow consistency.
• ACU-X Snap-On Nock: Innovative design provides unmistakable audible “click” confirmation when properly engaged with the bowstring, eliminating lateral nock travel during the shot cycle for precision long-range accuracy, while preserving string center serving life.

4. NEW Brushless Machined Aluminum Arrow Rest:

Secures to the barrel and NEW riser rod, isolating it from vibration generated by the SDS™ (String Dampening System) This creates a concrete immoveable platform for the rest, which eliminates shift and delivers the ultimate in down-range accuracy and shot-to-shot repeatability.

The Ultra series crossbows feature TenPoint’s Twin-Riser Technology. Lighter and 2x stiffer than traditional risers, TRT is designed with symmetrical top and bottom plates that reduce riser flex by 70% to generate the most consistent arrow flight path for greater down-range accuracy. The additional stiffness also dramatically reduces shock and vibration, giving TenPoint crossbows a distinct advantage in reduced noise and vibration over other high-performance crossbows.

Each facet of the Ultra series is designed to extract every millimeter of accuracy from the crossbow, including a custom, hand built TriggerTech Trigger. Using TriggerTech’s patented Zero-Creep Technology™, this 3lb. trigger features a clean, crisp break to promote accuracy and precision. In addition, the trigger’s Dry-Fire-Preventor™ (DFP) functions as a second safety – blocking the trigger from firing unless the nock is properly inserted.

An AR-Style Ambidextrous Thumb Safety is conveniently located directly above the shooter’s firing hand and is effortlessly activated and deactivated with the thumb – allowing the shooter to keep both hands on the crossbow and eyes locked on their game.

The Ultra series’ rail-less design features the ZERO-Trac Barrel that eliminates arrow friction for enhanced down-range precision. The TX Ultra crossbows specifically feature (not the TRX Ultra) a GUIDE-Lock™ Arrow Rest System that provides easy arrow-loading, as the arrow rests on two extremely wear-resistant ball bearings that reduce friction on the arrow to deliver exceptional accuracy and durability.

Featuring a traditional, time-tested 2-cable bow assembly built for durability, simplicity, and low maintenance, the Turbo X is equipped with the MDX Cam system that creates a longer power stroke to deliver speeds of 415 feet-per-second.
