TenPoint’s Wicked Ridge Launches 2 New Crossbows for 2026

Wicked Ridge Crossbows, owned by TenPoint Crossbow Technologies, announces their latest crossbows for 2026: the Commander 400, a new version of their best-selling crossbow that’s faster and now features a lighted scope, and the Warrior 400, which features a lighted scope and tactical stock with AR-style adjustable buttstock.

Commander 400

Wicked Ridge Crossbows, the only brand of crossbows Built in America from $499-$1,099, recently launched its new Commander 400 crossbow. With speeds of 400 feet-per-second, a built-in ACUdraw Cocking Device and lighted scope, the NEW Commander 400 delivers American-Built performance, reliability, and accuracy at just $599.

“With the Commander 400, we’ve given Wicked Ridge’s #1 seller – the Commander M1 – a 20 FPS speed boost and a lighted scope,” said Phil Bednar, CEO. “Unlike competitors’ imported bows at this price, the Commander 400 features a built-in cocking device and crank and is built right here in America to deliver the reliability and accuracy you can depend on shot after shot.”

At the heart of the Commander’s speed upgrade is an increased power stroke and an 11-inch narrow bow assembly featuring the MDX™ Cam system, which elongates the power stroke and increases rotation to produce speeds up to 400 feet-per-second with same-hole accuracy. The cast magnesium riser features sleek, lightweight limb pockets fitted with Gordon Glass™ Double Laminated Limbs that provide unmatched durability compared to competitors’ imported models.

“Crossbow limbs make or break the crossbow,” Bednar explained. “You can either choose an inexpensive crossbow under $500 with a high limb failure rate, or you can invest in a reliable Wicked Ridge crossbow that costs $500+ and comes with Gordon Glass limbs. You can’t have both, because no one can afford to put Gordon Glass limbs on a sub-$500 crossbow.”

The Commander 400 is equipped with the built-in ACUdraw. Unlike competitors cocking devices, both the ACUdraw Cocking Device and Crank Handle are built right into the crossbow, eliminating the need for a bulky clamp-on unit to cock the crossbow that must be installed and then removed each time you cock the crossbow. Additionally, you never have to worry about forgetting your cocking aid at home. The ACUdraw is user-friendly and allows hunters of all ages and abilities to effortlessly cock the crossbow.

The Commander 400 delivers superior shooting comfort through a carefully engineered stock design that prioritizes natural ergonomics and optimal performance. The stock provides ideal length-of-pull that combines seamlessly with the Pro-View™ 400 Lighted Scope to achieve perfect eye alignment, eliminating the awkward positioning often experienced with imported crossbows that are not designed by hunters. The 4×32 Pro-View 400 scope features illuminated red or green reticles with an updated design that provides a cleaner view for the shooter and additional aim points out to 70-yards.

Safety features are integrated throughout the stock design as well, including safety wings on top of the crossbow’s fore-grip that help prevent a shooter’s fore-grip fingers and thumb from moving above the flight deck while shooting, and a fully enclosed trigger guard that provides added safety from accidental discharge. A picatinny rail below the front of the barrel allows for mounting additional accessories. Like most Wicked Ridge crossbows, the stock is fitted with a DFI™ (Dry-Fire-Inhibitor) and an ultra-crisp 3½-pound trigger.

The Commander 400’s stock is double-dip fluid imaged in PEAK™ camo, while the limbs feature a tactical black finish that blend equally well in the shadows of a blind or up in a tree. Upon easy, 1-bolt assembly, the advanced design measures 35.75-inches long and weighs in at a light 7.3-pounds.
