Do you love hunting for shed antlers, or just want to find out what it’s all about?
Then get ready, because this coming weekend, March 10-11, you can join the world’s largest shed hunt during Shed Rally 2018. Organized by Whitetail Properties, the fourth annual weekend event encourages folks to get out and hunt for some shed antlers, to simply enjoy the outdoors as spring approaches, and hopefully introduce a newcomer to what deer hunting is all about.
It will be a chance to stretch the legs after a long winter and take in some fresh air, to scout deer hunting land before the new green growth of summer hides last season’s deer sign, and with a vigilant eye and some luck, to pick up some antlers dropped by a whitetail buck.
Plus, you can win prizes by sharing photos of your shed hunting adventures and using the hashtag #ShedRally on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter during the two-day event. There are some pretty sweet prizes up for grabs including a rifle from Winchester, camo gear from Realtree, YETI tumblers, giftcards from Legendary Whitetails, and more gear from Whitetail Properties, Dog Bone, LaCrosse Footwear, ScentLok and Hunterra!
The staff at Whitetail Properties will judge the photos and choose the prize winners at the close of the weekend, so do your best to get creative and have fun with it all.
