Help Provided for Big Game Permit Application Process

Looking to hunt in Colorado this year but not sure where to begin? No problem. Colorado Parks and Wildlife District Wildlife Managers will help decode the hunt codes at a big game application workshop in Colorado Springs.

“The application process may seem a little confusing, especially if it’s your first time, but we’ll walk you through the entire process and help you understand it,” said, Steve Cooley, District Wildlife Manager.

The workshop will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., March 21 at CPW’s Southeast Region Office, 4255 Sinton Road, Colorado Springs. Class size is limited to 40, so sign up early. Participants may register by calling the southeast region office at 719-227-5200.

District Wildlife Managers will cover the big game license application process, preference points and share some tips and techniques regarding the annual big game license drawing. Computer access will be provided, or bring your own, and leave the workshop with your application complete.

Remember the 2014 application deadline for the limited, big game license draw is April 1. For more information call 719-227-5200.
