Entries to Texas Parks and Wildlife’s Big Time Texas Hunts program are on sale, with the chance for a premium guided hunt package on some of Texas’ finest private ranches and Wildlife Management Areas.
The crown jewel of the program is the Texas Grand Slam which includes four separate hunts for the state’s most prized big game animals — desert bighorn sheep, white-tailed deer, mule deer and pronghorn. Also available are several quality whitetail hunt packages, as well as opportunities to pursue alligator, waterfowl, upland game birds, and exotics such as sable and gemsbok.
There is no limit to the number of entries you can purchase, and all proceeds benefit conservation, wildlife management and public hunting. You don’t have to have a hunting license to enter.
Entries are $9 online or $10 at Texas license retailers and by phone at 1-800-895-4248. A $5 administrative fee is required for online transactions. You may purchase as many Big Time Texas Hunts entries and any additional hunting and fishing licenses during this shopping transaction for this one-time $5 fee.
