While your neighbors and other hunters are trashing their land by tromping all over it, you can create and hunt low impact stands that will make your season far more successful.
These low impact stand sites don’t take a lot of work but should take some careful consideration based on your knowledge of the land. Do you know where bedding areas, travel routes, pinch points and the prevailing wind direction? Maybe where your neighbors travel frequently on ATVs and push deer into your land? All these factors can pay off when you’re thinking about low impact stand locations.
