Found one old shed today and collected 21 gallons of maple sap … almost didn’t make it out of the woods! Tomorrow could prove interesting.
My son and I put in 2.5 hours of hard looking — this pursuit is not all glory. I saw a coyote up close, a bald eagle, a rabbit (believe it or not,) and several deer. At least two bucks were still carrying their antlers.
Truthfully, seeing a shed is almost … almost … almost as exciting as pulling the trigger. And you don’t have to sit still all day to do it! Did I mention almost?
