Being confident in your skills and crossbow, bow, muzzleloader or whatever you’re using is one of the biggest assets for any hunter. Without having great confidence in being able to make the shot, along with analyzing the entire situation, we’re not doing our duty.
Similarly, having the knowledge to trust your instinct when the shot is not available also is something every hunter must cultivate and develop. Sometimes, unfortunately, we learn this through disappointing mistakes. But all of our experiences help make us better hunters.
Check out this great, confident shot on a fine Texas buck by Mike Stroff with his TenPoint crossbow. One shot and it didn’t take long!
