There’s no magic gizmo that will help you shoot big bucks. The same can be said for finding shed antlers.
A huge part of finding deer shed antlers and scouting is simply covering ground. Once you have a plan for the locations you want to search, just lace up your boots, grab your backpack, map, compass or GPS, and start hiking.
It’s antler shed hunting season in many eastern states in the country, and the western states won’t be far behind in a month or two. Everyone loves getting out in their deer hunting areas to scout last season’s sign, look for new spots, and find those highly sought-after deer sheds. And what better way to utilize those deer sheds, than to create your own knife handles with them.
