Deer & Deer Hunting reader Jeff Zuelsdorf sent in this awesome iPhone video of a buck he shot on Oct. 26.
Here’s his note:
I shot this Buck at 5:20 pm, Oct. 26 near Richland Center, Wis.
Deer & Deer Hunting is a real inspiration to all of us…
He was 15 yards out, went 60 yards and piled up.
This is shot from my iPhone on a FlexCam bracket.
P.S. It switches to slow-motion before the shot.
That’s a pretty cool video, and we’re seeing more hunters using the bow-mounted smart phone mounts. It’s neat to see the action from the hunter’s – really, the bow’s – point of view, isn’t it?
If you think that’s neat, be sure to check out our D&DH Shot Simulator software that lets you set up your deer and shot when you were hunting or create scenarios from tree stands or ground blinds. After you make the shot on the animated deer, either with bow or firearm, the Shot Simulator software allows you to learn exactly which organs were hit by peeling away the layers of the animation whitetail.
You can learn a ton of information about angles, internal impact, and more. Shot Simulator is a fantastic tool you can use on your computer to provide more information about your in-field experiences. CHECK IT OUT HERE NOW.
Great Job! Goes to show you that without a smart phone you would not have been able to share your hunt with us. The old fixed blade will get the job done nicely too.
