Whoa! If you’ve ever wondered what a bullet looks like coming out of the muzzle of a gun, now’s your chance to find out.

But until you see the video, you don’t know how that photo comes about.

The cool guys at Mythbusters on Discovery Channel used a high-speed camera that caught this bullet emerging from the muzzle. The camera films in 73,000 frames per second, so when they slow it down we can see virtually everything happening as the bullet takes flight.

It’s wicked cool. Take a look. I’ll bet you watch it twice.
