Boost Your Bowhunting Confidence with Better Broadhead Accuracy

Bowhunting is hard. It requires more effort than nearly any other hunting endeavor, which in itself goes far beyond the ordinary in today’s urbanized society. Bowhunters putting in all that hard work need the confidence to take effective shots when the hardest part of the job is done — getting into range of your quarry. It can be said too, that drawing your bow with confidence will invariably lead to better shot placement to reward all that hard work.

For decades, bowhunters have always had to deal with the challenge of how fixed-blade broadheads are far more unforgiving to small form flaws under pressure, and small bow tuning variations, compared to field points. What’s more, very few broadheads match field point sight pins in practice, making the development of confident shots even more difficult. With the advent of SEVR in 2018, many of those concerns became a thing of the past for thousands of successful bowhunters.

SEVR mechanical broadheads are renowned for their field-point accuracy, effective performance on the biggest game, and reliability from bows and crossbows, and they make effective practice easy. You just drop in the included set screw to lock the blades into the ferrule. It allows practice with the very broadheads you hunt with. With the blades locked into place, they enter the target without deploying. Then, simply clean out the target residue, replace the O-ring, and remove the set screw when you’re ready to take them hunting. Another area where the SEVR stands out is its low-profile design, which results in accuracy at extended range. Testing has shown SEVR broadheads to match, or exceed, the grouping potential of field points — and in some cases group even better.

Prolific author and SEVR tester, Jace Bauserman, said it well, “the popularity of these titanium heads comes from their field-point-like accuracy and massive cut trauma — the swept-back blade cutting angle slices through vital organs in concert with the Lock-and-Pivot design to ensure maximum penetration.”

Bowhunting is hard work, there’s no getting around that, but with SEVR, whether your shot is from a tree stand at 10 yards or on a pronghorn at 60 yards, you get the unmatched confidence of knowing that the arrow will hit behind your pin, every time, if you do your part to close the deal.
