Today’s featured items from the recently completed Archery Trade Show include two
impressive hunting bows and one unique deer attractant. I will wrap up the ATA highlights
tomorrow with a few surprises you might not have saw coming. Today’s items include:
1. The Bear Carnage bow. This single cam is smoking fast (345 fps), yet forgiving
(7.25″ brace height). It is also built for tree stand hunters (32″ axle to axle).
In fact, the folks at Bear Archery told me the Carnage is the fastest, smoothest and
most efficient bow Bear has ever built. That’s saying something. www.beararchery.com.
2. Acorn Drop N Block from Wildgame Innovations. Hunters who live in states
that allow attractants will want to check out this product. It is compressed block
containing real acorns. The block is designed to hang from a limb, which helps dispense
the scent of real acorns. As the block melts away, real acorns drop from the block,
which also attracts deer through the sounds of natural acorns hitting the ground.

3. The new PSE Dream Season EVO bow from PSE. According to Pete Shepley, this
might be the best bow for whitetail hunting that PSE has ever produced. At 345 fps,
the PSE Dream Season EVO not only has the speed you expect from an X Force but an
incredibly smooth draw and feel. Made in the USA, it ships in the 29-inch draw setting
but will adjust to fit anyone with a draw length ranging from 25 1/2 to 30 inches
in half-inch increments. www.pse-archery.com.
