New Stealth Pro Disk Harrows and Rotary Cutter for Land Managers

Great Plains has expanded its Stealth Pro line with new land management products created to support the unique needs of hunters, conservationists, and wildlife enthusiasts. In addition to the Stealth Pro box drill line, the new land management line includes the DH6 and DH8 disk harrows and the RC7 rotary cutter that can be used to prepare the ground for food plots, habitats, conservation efforts, and other land management projects. Like the Stealth Pro drills, the new land management products showcase camo product branding to create a unique appeal to hunters and conservationists.

Kale Downing, Great Plains Box Drill Product Manager, said, “After building a specialized portfolio of compact box drills to fill the gap in the food plot and recreational land development markets, we saw a natural path forward to expand beyond drills. The new Stealth Pro disk harrows and rotary cutter complement the drills seamlessly for many different land management and seeding applications.”

The Stealth Pro DH6 and DH8 Disk Harrows make breaking ground and preparing for food plots, habitats, and other land managing projects an easy process with exceptional performance. The Stealth Pro Disk Harrows are available in two working widths: 6′ for the DH6, requiring less than 65 horsepower, and 8′ for the DH8, requiring 40-100 horsepower – making them a great fit for smaller tractors. The disk harrows offer a 3-point hitch that is quick-hitch compatible, allowing users to quickly connect and disconnect the implement to maneuver between plots.

Both models are designed for enhanced durability with square-frame tubing, high carbon steel square gang axles, and notched blades to handle difficult conditions. Users can also expect equipment longevity and low maintenance with features like sealed, greaseable ball bearings and gang angles that adjust to fit conditions without any additional tools required.

The Stealth Pro RC7 Rotary Cutter is essential to achieving a clean cut while knocking back brush and dense overgrowth. With a 2″ cutting diameter, the rotary cutter is designed to handle underbrush and saplings to clear the path for foot plots and habitats, while the 6-gauge stump jumper allows the unit to clear stumps, rocks, and other debris. The RC7 Rotary Cutter is quick-hitch compatible to simplify hookups and utilizes a floating link that flexes to follow terrain for an even cut. The rounded deck design, 11 15/16″ deck height, and front and rear chain guards allow the cutter to handle heavy cutting conditions and discharge debris for optimum flow.

The Stealth Pro Series by Great Plains is built using the same quality and manufacturing standards as Great Plains’ production agriculture equipment. Downing said, “Each product in the Stealth Pro Series is configured to best support outdoorsmen striving to improve their recreational property – with a priority on maintaining the uncompromised quality standards of our production ag equipment.”

With a strong focus on meeting customers’ needs, Great Plains has been the equipment of choice for many wildlife organizations and NRCS offices around the nation. Additionally, Great Plains has created partnerships with some of today’s top outdoor and wildlife brands, like Midwest Whitetail, Small Town Hunting, and Backwoods Premium Wildlife Products.

The Stealth Pro line is ideal for outdoorsmen who are looking for high quality implements that are durable, simple to own, and will support quality food plots and habitats. To learn more about Stealth Pro by Great Plains, visit: www.GPStealthPro.com.
