Stealth Strips: Stop the Metal ‘Clank’ in a Treestand

Stealth Outdoors has been helping hunters eliminate noise since 2009 with their popular Stealth Strips® available through stealthoutdoors.com. What started as an idea from friend and renowned whitetail hunter Dan Infalt (aka “The Big Buck Serial Killer”), has grown into a full line of Peel N Stick durable silencing material that eliminates metal to metal “clank” and covers shiny metal surfaces.

Originally Dan had asked for cable silencers as his rubber boot rubbed against his treestand cable giving an untimely squeak and ruining an otherwise well-planned hunt. Members on Dan’s hunting forum thehuntingbeast.com got wind of the cable silencers and started requesting different sizes to wrap climbing sticks, treestands, and many other items. Since the early days of the cable silencers, word of mouth has quietly spread across the internet and this tiny Michigan company has now shipped thousands of orders across all 50 states (yes, Hawaii, and Alaska, too).

Stealth Strips help quiet the metal parts of quick ladders, sticks, steps and tree stands.

The product line has evolved by maintaining a consistent product, by taking care of the customer, and by expanding sizes and patterns. There are now around 12 standard sizes, in 3 standard camo patterns. Stealth Strips® Rolls have been a big hit since they were introduced in March 2020. Buckle Silencers for cinch straps have also been very popular since being introduced in March 2019.

In addition to treestands, climbing sticks, and treestand accessories, customers have wrapped their thermos, bikes, waders, they have field repaired hunting clothes, canvas covers, and many other untold items. Every hunter should have a piece of this versatile, durable, and extremely sticky material in their pack, as they never know where it might be needed.
