According to a story on KTTC/NBC in Minnesota, a man driving with arm hanging out of car window has painful run-in with deer.

Paul Laganiere told the station this isn’t the first time he has hit a deer. However, this time, the tables were turned as he was hit by a deer.

He had his arm hanging out the window because it was so hot. The deer hit the front corner of his vehicle, spun around, hit the mirror and then struck his arm, breaking it just above the the elbow.

“The doctors say they’ve never seen such a thing,” he told the station.

He will need to have reconstructive surgery in his face in the joint of his jaw.
