Sportsman Channel and Comcast are teaming up to host a Hunt.Fish.Feed event in Red Bank, N.J. on Sept. 24, serving a special venison taco dinner at Lunch Break to more than 175 of those in need.

Special guest Scott Leysath, Sportsman Channel TV host and Executive Chef, will help prepare and serve venison tacos with all the fixings. Hunt.Fish.Feed., created by Sportsman Channel, is a unique outreach program that taps an underutilized food source — game meat and fish donated by sportsmen — to feed those struggling with hunger across America. New Jersey’s event will utilize more than 50 pounds of venison donated by the Mule Deer Foundation.

Red Bank Mayor Pasquale Menna will be in attendance during the lunch session.

Lunch Break freely provides life’s basic necessities — food, clothing and fellowship for community members in need. Their mission is to alleviate hunger and lead those they serve to self-sufficiency and healthier lifestyles. Lunch Break was awarded the Spinnaker Non-Profit of the Year award by the Eastern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce in 2012.
