With the recent approval of suppressors for hunting in Texas, it’s only fitting that a shooting range will host an event for hunters and shooters to learn more about them.

The first Silencers Are Legal Shoot! will be held April 28 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Elm Fork Shooting Range in Dallas. High Precision Range will introduce its new 9mm subsonic ammunition, and other companies including Silencerco, AAC and Gemtech.

The shoot is being put on to help educate the public and show products. Proceeds, after expenses, will be donated to the American Silencer Association, a non-profit trade association for the silencer industry.

“We want the consumer to experience this ammunition and walk away wanting more,” said Ryan Nicholas, HPR national sales director. “What better way to introduce product than to be able to test drive it immediately. With our innovative and responsive engineering team, we are introducing high quality ammo that doesn’t break the bank and we are fortunate to be participating.”

Bring your suppressed guns and enjoy silenced fun. This is a suppressed-only shoot. No unsuppressed shooting will be permitted at this event.
