Watch: Deer Hunter Encounters a Pile of Snakes!

Searching for shed antlers or scouting for new deer stand sites usually makes hunters think about what’s creeping on the ground in front of them. This is especially true with the rattlesnake, copperhead and water moccasins among the three most common that we usually have to deal with in the South and West.

The coral snake also gets a nod in some parts of the country. But the rattlesnake probably takes the top spot because of their widespread populations. They can be found in much of the country.

This is taking things to an extreme level, though.

Check out this video shot in Montana — with a camera on a monopod, it appears — of a rhumba of rattlesnakes. Pretty amazing! We don’t see any need for looking for sheds in this pasture!
