Significant changes were approved for the upcoming deer season by the West Virginia Natural Resources Commission, including an “earn a buck” program along with an increase in the antlerless deer limits and ease for non-residents to get antlerless deer permits.
The commission approved the changes on April 29. The impetus for the shifts in doe limits is to increase the number of does killed throughout the state.
