Foodie Friday: Dan’s Magic Venison Marinade

Dan Schmidt has a venison marinade for you that will make any backstrap-eating experience even more magical than it already is. So get your grills fired up and let’s get started!

Ingredients

1 full backstrap

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dry mustard powder

3 cloves minced garlic

Directions

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight. Throw the backstraps on the grill and enjoy!
