We all remember our first deer, but us, ahem, older folks didn’t have cell phones to document the moment like we do today. I’m sure glad I had my phones with me the day my daughter took her first deer here in Wisconsin.
Yes, the video is shaky and low resolution, but the excitement that builds on her face as she is waiting for Grandpa to answer the phone is priceless. It’s moments like this that energize me more than ever to keep the hunting tradition going in our family.
