Alsheimer left a career in the corporate world to pursue nature photography and outdoor writing in 1979 and since then has become an influential deer hunting personality. Once called “the hottest outdoor photographer in the field,” his photographs have been featured on the covers of outdoor magazines for years and he has authored several books on the study of deer behavior.
